Hello!
My name is Chrissie Van Hoever and I am an award-winning designer and illustrator with a passion for creating whimsical, nature-inspired designs and illustrations. I have spent over a decade working with large and small clients on everything from mom-and-pop hand-lettered logos and website designs to museum exhibits and enterprise company illustration guidelines and design systems. I am passionate about using design and illustration as tools for problem-solving with a human- and environment-centered approach.

In early 2022, I opened Nuthatch Studio with the mission to create earth-friendly and delightfully illustrated products that foster meaningful connections, encourage kindness, and spark creativity.
Mini Bio
I graduated from the College of Design at North Carolina State University with a Masters of Art + Design and Bachelors of Graphic Design. I live in North Carolina with my family, and we love exploring the mountains to the sea and everything in between.
