SideBar Branding

SideBar is a neighborhood bar in downtown Cary, NC. The owners approached me to help create the brand from scratch. They wanted something fun, inviting, and non-pretentious. The design and text bubble motif was inspired by conversations had over drinks. The hand-lettered mark and illustrations for the menus and apparel is casual and friendly, but with modern layouts and crisp lines.
